I gave two parts to an assessment for my last unit - a multiple choice (MC) and a free response (FRQ). I would like the parts to both be equal to 25 points. It's relatively easy to accomplish with the MC using New Quizzes, but I can't figure out if, or how, I can do it the FRQ.
The FRQ has been added as a "No Submission" assignment. The rubric I created is a total of 20 points, and I hand-scored it. I was hoping I could put their scores into the assignment, and then simply change the total point total to 25 and Canvas would automatically scale it up, but no such luck.
I could do this manually, but is there a way to adjust the Assignment in Canvas so it is done automatically?
Thanks!

Hello @David_Dyer_SD ,
Just to confirm do you have this broken into two different assignments? If you have two different scores you can set the point values to equal 25 between the two with not requiring submissions still. If you are using the rubric to score you have to include the correct point values for that one assignment in the rubric of the score will not be correct as well. But with this being so many moving parts it might be earlier to look at if you contact Canvas support https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Basics-Guide/How-do-I-contact-Canvas-Support/ta-p/389767
