I accidentally put an assignment in twice and didn't realize it. Is there any way to combine the two assignments? Students have already submitted to both so I would like to merge them so that they are not getting the"missing" label for one even though they did the other.

Hi Sarah, there is no way to merge assignments, so the easiest thing to do in this case is recreate the assignment and have students resubmit it.

Hi there. Just re-upping this issue. It's disappointing that Canvas lacks this basic functionality that is present in many other widely used LMSs. Is the ability to merge assignments on the roadmap for future inclusion in the platform?

This would also be useful in creating review assignments. I wanted to take some pre-tests already created and copy/merge them together for one assignment. Does not appear that I can do this.
