[ARCHIVED] Can I (a teacher) act as a student in my course through the Canvas student app?

I am a high school teacher and I'd like to see exactly what steps a student would take in order to submit an assignment with pdf file upload.  I tried using the student app to upload a file to an assignment, but I keep getting an error that says "Submission failed for [assignment]".  Is this happening because I have a teacher account and not a true student account?

Hi @leger 

In your teacher app, go to Settings and choose Student View. This will, for the most part, let you act as a student to test the submission process.
