Good afternoon, @kglenzer ...
Full disclosure... I've never used hypothes.is before, so I don't know exactly what it is or the functionality it provides. However, I did a bit of searching the Googles, and I discovered that, yes, you can integrate it with Canvas. I am not sure if there are any additional costs associated with this integration, so you might want to reach out to your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning department to see if they could investigate that for you. I also do not know if hypothes.is would be integrated at the Canvas account level (so everyone at your school can access it) or at the course level (only you have access to it). These are questions that your Canvas administrator would need to ask.
I found some links that may be of help:
- Edu App Center: hypothes.is
- Using the Hypothesis LMS App with Assignments in Canvas : Hypothesis
- Hypothesis in Canvas: Collaborative Annotation as Discussion Forum 2.0 : Hypothesis
- Installing the Hypothesis LMS App for Canvas : Hypothesis
- Canvas -- Hypothesis
Hopefully these links will be enough to get you started. Good luck in your adventures to possibly integrate this in your school's Canvas environment. Take care...be well.
