[ARCHIVED] Can one import questions from a doc into New Quizzes?

 A teacher asked me the following question, "I have fifty multiple choice questions on a doc. How can I input them into a canvas quiz without having to enter each question and every answer choice separately? Will take forever. I want to be able to shuffle the questions and answer choices so the kids get different versions. Tried to upload the doc into new canvas quizzes and couldn't get it to work."

Is this something that she can do?  TIA.

Hi rpsimon‌, neither Classic Quizzes nor the New Quizzes does an import from Word.  It is a bit cumbersome.

Once the instructor has added all of the questions though, there is a Setting in new quizzes to randomize the question order and the answer order.  

I suspect since this is a newer quizzing tool an import option may be possible in the future as a lot of people have requested it from what I've seen in the past.
