[ARCHIVED] Can't access student sections through speedgrader

I have 4 class sections cross-listed and I can only access 1 section through speed grader in a discussion post. I have the discussion set up in student groups according to sections. 

When trying to access speedgrader through the GRADES page, I get the following message. 

 When I'm in SpeedGrader and try to switch over to another section, I get the following message:

Is this because the discussion is assigned to Student Groups rather than sections? 

Any help would be appreciated.

This is happening to me too!  I am worried that cross-listed sections won't do groups, which would sort of ruin  my assignments.  😞  Alas, it is already set up and open.  I hope there is a fix!!!

Same here.  And, I can't even select a section when getting to SpeedGrader through the gradebook:

I have a course with sections. Whenever I try to use SpeedGrader on an assignment from the Gradebook, it always gives me the following error: "The Group "XXXXXXX" was automatically selected because no group was previously chose. You can change the selected group in the Gradebook." But the stupid section WAS selected in the Gradebook. And when I go back and select a different section and repeat the process, I get the same error. This is infuriating. Obviously there are other ways to get into the SpeedGrader, but why does this way not work?

Check your settings. Make sure the box for "Large Course: Enable SpeedGrader Filtered by Student Group is NOT be checked.
