I am unable to log out of my canvas account on a computer on campus. I am concerned that if I just log out of the computer without successfully logging out of canvas, it will leave my account open as it does on my computer at home. I can be inactive on canvas for several hours and my account is still logged in. I do not want this to happen on a public computer at school. Thank you in advance for any advice or assistance

You raise a good point with shared devices and the need to log off.
Is this situation still ongoing? If so then you will need to contact your institution's support.
