[ARCHIVED] Canvas Assignment Sync to PowerTeacher Pro add 100 points Extra Credit

When assignments sync from Canvas to PowerSchool, every assignment setup is automatically given 100 extra points.

Is there any way that we can change this or stop this from happening?

@InstContentTeam  this is happening in my district as well.  My teachers are getting super frustrated!!!  Is there anyway to fix this?

We started noticing this in Oct 2019 in my district.  We would love to know why it happens.

PowerSchool still has my ticket open.  According to Canvas "Regardless of if the assignment is set to display as a percentage in Canvas, it will send points to PowerSchool and this adjustment will need to be made within PowerSchool to display those scores correctly as a percent. The extra 100 points are an extra "possible" 100 points in case the student earned extra credit and doesn't impact the student negatively."
