[ARCHIVED] Canvas Images Blurry

I'm trying to create a course banner to show at the top of my homepage. I am bringing it in from Google Drawings with dimensions of 680x160 pixels and when I add it to my page and bring it to size it always ends up slightly blurry even though the original picture is sharp. Is there a different set of dimensions I should be using or something I can do to fix this?

I attached the banner in Google Drawings and in Canvas to show what I mean. I'm not sure the full blurriness can be seen very well.

I'm seeing the blur most obvious in the text below the images. Is that what you're noticing too?

It looks like the resolution of the images is a little small and you may need to size it up.  

One other thing to consider (and may help with the overall design) is that the email address and phone number will not be readable by a screenreader or other accommodating software.  You may want to take that out of the image and put it in as actual page text?
