[ARCHIVED] Canvas Modules Sequential Steps

I have my module set up so that students must go in sequential order. However I did not include a few items so that everyone could see them as soon as they opened the module. The files that are on the top of my module are viewable to the students, but the optional extras at the bottom of the module are still grayed out. Any one know how to adjust or fix this so that the bottom of the module is viewable like the top?

Hi  @courtneyslewis  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

If those items are still grayed out, then they have not yet been published. Once they are published, then they will be visible to the students, but the students will not be able to interact with them until they achieve the requirements you have set for the module. To publish the items, simply click the slashed circle icon to change it to a green check mark.

They are published and I haven’t set any requirements for them. Two are not grayed out, they are on the top of the module. 5 files are grayed out but those are posted at the bottom as Optional Extras, but they don’t have any requirements associated with them.
