[ARCHIVED] Canvas New Features for This School Year?

Hi, I am looking to share new-ish features in Canvas with my teachers for PD.  Other than the cross listings which have been around for just a year, what other new features are out there that you'd recommend?

Hi there, @rpsimon ...

Since lot of our instructors are not on campus over the Summer, I will typically look at the last few months of Canvas Release Notes (and now Deploy Notes, too), to determine what new things I might want to highlight in a short summary for them.  It's kind of a "What's New?  What Did I Miss?" type of thing.  You might want to take a look at:

• Canvas Deploy Archive - Instructure Community

I've not been able to go through everything, but normally I would just pick maybe 3-5 items that we think instructors would be most interested in...or are new features that would help instructors in their workflow.

I know my response doesn't give specifics...since what could be important update/feature for one school might not be as important for another school, but hopefully this will be a bit of a starting point for you.
