[ARCHIVED] Canvas Teacher App Android Problem

So I have contacted support but I’m not getting much help. When I try and use the Canvas Teacher App and find my school district it gives me an error. (See picture) I don’t have this issue at all with the iOS version of the app. Anyone have ideas?

Hi  Jaime - Did you contact your district Canvas Support, or have you been in-touch with Canvas Support at Instructure? If the latter, do you have a ticket number you can share? What version of Android OS are you running? Is your app updated? ...and which device do you have?

Yes. I actually continued to search the forum and tried a hint about double tapping the screen to get around a SSO problem to see if that was the problem. Somehow this worked and I was able to login.

Hi Jaime -  Here's another thought (which is likely the solution to your error!):The Android app requires that URL for your institution to be https rather than http. Your institution's Canvas Admin or the implementation person at Canvas that worked with your institution should be able to update that.
