I have the free version of Canvas right now and my district is planning on using it for our school year. Will my free version automatically switch over to the paid version or will I lose everything when they get the paid version?

Hi @sarah_cabrera2 Welcome to the Canvas Community!
Your Free-for-Teachers (FFT) course is your own Canvas account, and will neither be rolled into your school account, nor lost because your school creates their own account. You will need to manually copy your FFT course content into a shell created for you on your school's account. You will need to contact your Canvas Admin for Deming Public Schools to discuss creating course shells for you - it is managed differently at every school - but once you have your shells, the following guides will show you how to move your content from your FFT courses.
I hope this helps,
Kelley

Thank you for your response. So I'm understanding that it won't automatically transfer over. However, what I do have in there right now can be exported once I get the paid version?
