[ARCHIVED] Canvas data policies - taking an environmental scan

hi all!

Does your institution have a policy on Canvas use data? I'm talking about the user 'click/access' data like Page Views (Admin side) and Student Access reporting (Teacher side). Have you set policies and expectations for students, instructors, interested others to get access to the data via the API (which they can do) or requesting Page View data or diving deeper from the Teacher view of 'Student Access' and last time viewed/accessed?

If so - please point me to your policy if it's available online, or post here, or email me if it's not meant to be "out there".

This is in the interest of refining our own policies.

We are giving the Canvas Admins area a little bit of love (especially questions that are really, really old) and just want to check in with you.  This will also bring this question new attention.
