[ARCHIVED] Canvas & e-Portfolio Options

I am doing my due diligence looking for e-Portfolio options that work both with and without Canvas. I am looking at Canvas ePortfolio tool but would like to find what other options are out there. I know about Porfolium, Foliotech, and Digication. Portfolium integrates with LMS, don't know about the other two yet. I am looking for a robust tool that will allow faculty, carreer development staff, mentors, and future employers to see and assist with the portfolios. 

Does anyone know of any other vendors and whether or not they integrate with Canvas? Any recommendations, good or bad, from personal experience would be helpful.

We don't use portfolios at my school, but to add to this list: MAHARA.

They just now did a Canvas integration, and I am guessing there is a dedicated group of Mahara users.

I would be interested to know where you landed with the e-Portfolio situation.  In my imagination there would be a tool available where students could have a permanent portfolio to use after graduation that would not require the institution to keep their Canvas accounts live, would integrate with canvas so that programmatic outcome assessments could be tracked and a professor could see student improvement from one centralized place.   Am I dreaming, or could such a thing exist?
