I am excited about the video we just saw on new Analytics. However, when I go into our accounts, I don't see anything interactive, just static graphs and we can only filter by term. Are they not live yet, or is there something I need to turn on? I have " New Analytics as a feature" at the account level.

I have a similar request, but would like to be able to do this with short answer questions, so the 1 point wouldn't work, I want to give partial credit. Post 10 short answer questions and have students only answer 4 for 20 points each. But a student could get 12 or 15 points for a partial answer.

We do need the ability to sort courses, or better yet arrange the courses on the dashboard as we would like, sort of like you arrange icons on the desktop of your computer.

It is more that they are creating another email address and giving it the "star" to make it their default address. Can you restrict a student from entering a second email address completely other, and force them to use they school assigned address? Thanks, Lea Ann

We would like to restrict students to use only their official student email account when they are in canvas and our classes. Is there a way to keep them from adding a new email account and / or making an alternative account their default account? I would be interested to know where you landed with the e-Portfolio situation. In my imagination there would be a tool available where students could have a permanent portfolio to use after graduation that would not require the institution to keep their Canvas accounts live, would integrate with canvas so that programmatic outcome assessments could be tracked and a professor could see student improvement from one centralized place. We are looking for a why to do our "end of term" course surveys directly in canvas so that we can force students to complete them in our online courses by locking down a certain assignment until the survey is complete. It sounds like the anonymous grading might be a way to do this, but another concern is can we set them up so a faculty member can't "grade" or see the results until 2 weeks after the course has ended? We currently use class climate for our course surveys and are thinking about asking students to upload a certificate of completion as a assignment and then unlock the rest of the course, however, with this method the student must download the certificate of completion - its not personalized, and the students could really just upload any document before unlocking other assignments. That seems like a lot of hurdles and loopholes for students where we still wouldn't get the data we need.
