I'm trying to rewatch some lecture videos from a few weeks ago, and the first one was fine however the rest of them played as audio only, without the video of the lecture slides. I tried reloading the page and none of them worked, including the first lecture that originally did. I've already contacted my professor and everything is normal from her side. I have tried 3 different browsers, clearing my cache, and restarting my brower and laptop and nothing is working.
I have a test coming up soon on this topic and really want to review the lectures properly - how can I fix this??
Tess,
I was going to suggest trying a different web browser because I have seen this happen with Safari, but it looks like you tried that already. By any chance to you have your browsers set to magnify the view? It's just a guess but I have seen weird things when a browser it zoomed in beyond 100% where some items don't display correct.
Another thought I just had was browser extensions such as an ad blocker. One way to test this out is to use Google Chrome and open an Incognito window to access Canvas (click the 3 dots in the upper right corner of Chrome to do this). Incognito mode blocks extensions so if it works this way; it's a good bet you might have an extension or even malware causing the issue. With some of these tools it's not uncommon for them to get installed on every web browser on your computer.
