@championnet4 Welcome to the Canvas Community!
Many participating schools offer access to training courses in the training portal, and that is detailed in How do I use the Training Services Portal as an instructor? If you don't see that link in your help menu, check out Set Up Your Canvas Course in 30 minutes or Less for guidance—and also ask the eLearning department at your school for more information about the training courses they are making available to their users.

Dear Stefanie
Thanks for your prompt reply. However, if I ask it is because there is no one I could ask. I am a University lecturer based in Paris.
French institutions are far beyond such a great enabler platform as a teaching tools. I need to be able to appropriate myself with Canvas asap, thus was wondering if there c/would be a hands-on session for people that are in a similar situation.
thanks
