[ARCHIVED] Canvas vs. Google Classroom Revisited

My school has been using Canvas as its LMS for the 5 years.  This was my first year using Canvas (and not only did I have to learn the tool but I had to learn it as an admin) and I really learned a lot.  I just mentioned to some of the admins of my school that Canvas has a greater amount of capabilities and power than Google Classroom does.  I haven't used Google Classroom recently; rather, I used it several years ago to a great extent.  (I mentioned this in the context that they were thinking of providing summer homework by assigning it through Google Classroom instead of Canvas because they are wanting to use Kahn Academy and its lessons can be assigned through Google Classroom.) Anyway, I am curious if anyone can provide me with a simple chart/list that shows side by side Canvas vs. Google Classroom. I saw  @mjoaquin 's blogpost from December 2017 on Canvas vs. Google Classroom and I am wondering if anyone has anything that's more up to date.  Thanks in advance!
