[ARCHIVED] Change a graded quiz to a practice quiz?

If I change a current "graded quiz" to "practice quiz", will I still be able to see the students' scores?

We were just told we have to do everything Complete/Incomplete, so I need to have their scores so I can decide who meets the 60% threshold.

Hi,  @reynolkr88 . The short answer is yes. You will be able to view their scores and this is described in more detail in the guide, How do I view practice quiz results in a course? However, those scores will not appear in the Gradebook so I am not sure a practice quiz alone will suffice. One way to accomplish this is to use the scores from a practice quiz to determine how you grade a complete/incomplete graded assignment that has the point value you want for the quiz.

Thank you for the reply. I guess my concern is that kids have already taken

the quiz and I'm afraid I'll lose the scores already in canvas when I

change it to a practice quiz.

What the students scored will still be visible if you look at each practice quiz submission, but the quiz and associated scores will no longer be in the Gradebook or factored in to the total grade.
