Noticed our rich text editor looks a bit different this evening. wondered if others had noticed or if it's just something our IT dept have enabled. Apologies been out of the Canvas loop for a few years!

@willmoin , RCE Enhancements were released this past weekend, and you can read more at Canvas Release: New Rich Content Editor. Admins can toggle that feature option on or off in account settings until the new RCE becomes the default, currently anticipated for some time in June 2020 (Upcoming Canvas Changes lists the big ones).

We noticed some UI functionality issues with the new Rich Text Editor.
When we click to edit the page contents, the editor will resize the height to accommodate the length of the content.
The editor toolbar will be out of reach if we are editing contents at the bottom of the page.
