I have already published 9 quizzes on canvas and I need to change the "Quiz Score to Keep" from "average" to "highest" score the students have after 2 attempts. All the quizzes are closed and I already edited the settings, but the scores in the grade book did not change. Is my only option at this point to go through each student's score on grade book and assign "fudge points"?

Hi @andreafc
Once students submit a quiz, Canvas will retain the original settings for students who have already submitted. For students who attempt the quiz after the revision, Canvas will apply the new setting. This is actually a security feature to retain student grades as stated to the students at the time they attempted the quiz. Although I doubt if many of your students would complain about your revision resulting in higher posted scores for them, but what if your change had been the reverse?
You can learn more about these quiz settings at https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10152-415241475
Yep, fudge points it is.
