How do I export a class roster with email addresses?

Hi Mark,

Does your school use email addresses as the login ID for staff and students? If so, the best way you can do this in Canvas is to download a CSV from the grade book using this guide How do I export grades from the Gradebook?

The downloaded CSV will have the login_id for each user, if that is their email address (which is the default), you should be good to go.

I would also suggest that your Student Information/Management System might also offer this functionality and would generally have what many institutions consider the formal list, but you would need to check in with your school for that.
