My current class that I am teaching has been moved to "past courses" and I am unable to edit anything. HOw can I move it back to current courses?

It sounds like your school has concluded and removed instructor access to that course. Please reach out to the local Canvas admin or eLearning department for your district to request that access be restored and to learn more about their procedures for concluding courses.
