[ARCHIVED] Communication with Parents in Canvas

Our district is new to Canvas this year and I am looking for a school district that could possibly answer some questions for me. How you are communicating with parents in Canvas at the elementary level? We are using other tools like SeeSaw and Remind101 but would like to see if there is someone out there that is only using Canvas and parents are happy with the communication they are getting.

Hi there, 

If your licensing allows, you can create user accounts for parents.

You can create a "Parent" role in admin permissions and they can see announcements, pages, or whatever you'd like them to see and not see.
