[ARCHIVED] Conference (BBB) Audio Issue

Experiencing significant issues with audio breaking-up while attempting to deliver live class, via Canvas Conferences feature, (Big Blue Button).

The problem is so great that Live delivery is a waste of student's and my own time. 

Currently using Safari Version 13.1 (14609.1.20.111.8), which I believe to be supported.

Really need, and would really appreciate, help with solving this issue as students likely to dis-engage.

Hi,  @john_obrien . I work remotely so I use a lot of different conferencing applications in a number of scenarios. I've experienced audio breaking up a number of times both as a speaker or listener. Most often this is a sign of internet connection bandwidth issues. You can find more information about technical requirements for BigBlueButton on their website, Important Information for users of the BigBlueButton HTML5 Client. They do recommend Chrome or Firefox for computers so you can give that a shot versus Safari, but I would also try running a speed test of your internet connection to see if it is running slowly.

If connection issues make the real-time transmission of your audio too problematic, you can try pre-recording verbal material and using chat to communicate in real-time.
