Thank you for contacting Canvas Support. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with students unable to view their assigned peer reviews. The To Do section shows up to seven items with due dates or event dates in the upcoming weeks, including ungraded quizzes, assignments that do not require a Canvas submission, and course announcements. Each item in the To Do list displays the assignment name, the course name, the number of points, and the due date for the assignment. Once the due date has passed, items remain in this section for four weeks.
By default, the students would need to click on "show all" especially if they are taking a few classes and have more than an assignment due each week. We display the 7 default as to be compatible across different devices and not crowd the dashboard since we also include a link to view grades, etc. There may be a possibility of customizing this for your school but we would need to speak with the school CSM to set up anything that isn't a Canvas default setting.
