[ARCHIVED] Customizing Login Page

It appears there was a stealth update at some point that broke some of our theme for our login page.  For some reason the labelling text for the username and password have turned white, which is over a light tan background.  Anyone know where in the theme editor this text is?  I can't seem to find any.  I'd like to turn this text back to black.

I just tested this in our environment, and it seems to be "Login Label" in the "Login Screen" section of the Theme editor.

Hmm...didn't work.  Anyone able to confirm Tracey's testing?  If so, then I guess it has to be in our CSS/JS customization.

It's a bug. The correct colors are still indicated for the theme. I reported it to my rep.

Thanks Susan - I've submitted it to Canvas Support who pushed it to level 2 support.  If you want to reference it, it's Case 02325915.

My rep said they are aware of the issue, but to create a ticket. I can't do one for a few hours though.

https://nmjc.instructure.com/ has the same issue when using an updated Windows 10 Pro version 1703 and Internet Explorer 11. Updated Firefox, Chrome, and Edge did not give the same problem. InstructureSupport said we could use the key combination Ctrl + F5 and the Theme (Branding) would return (until you went to the next page where you would have to repeat the key strokes). You may have to repeat the key combination multiple times to get the theme to appear. It seems to be a Microsoft update conflict. We suggest that our students use Firefox because it seems to have the least amount of conflicts of all the broswers.

Odd - seems like the bug isn't completely fixed then.  We had ours fixed on Wednesday with a bug fix they rolled out, and it looks fine in FF/Chrome now.
