Since the latest Canvas update, the days have disappeared off the To-Do list. There is only the date now.
So it will show that an assignment is due on January 28, but it will not say Tuesday like it used to. This is causing some anxiety among the students. Am I missing something? Is there a way to make the day come back? Or is that a problem with the update? Anyone else notice this?
@kelley_kaminsky , this is an interesting question. I don't remember ever seeing the day of the week on the To Do list on the right side of the page. I also checked a few videos I had which included the to-do list, including a video where I explain to students how to use the To-Do list, and I don't see a day of the week included.
Yet, if students switched from Course Card layout to "List View" on the dashboard, they would see the day of the week - https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-15243-4212947391
Could this be the issue, that students got flipped from List View to Course Card layout?
Kona
Thank you for this idea, Kona. I checked with a student and changing from card to list view did not make a difference. This is a change since the most recent canvas update. Any other ideas out there?
