As a student, I have many of my notifications set to immediately send an email, and I noticed recently that all of my "assignment graded" emails have been delayed by exactly an hour for a while. Is this intended behavior? If not, does anyone else have this issue or is this an issue with my school? Thanks for the help!

Hi @jseaton
"Immediate" notifications can be delayed by up to an hour to prevent spam, as documented in this guide.
Hi @jseaton
I just found this notice from Canvas:Email Notification Delays.
I know it is not what you are looking for, but it is an honest answer.

Thanks @kmeeusen
I did notice that post. I figure there might be another reason since all the other notifications come through much sooner and the timing seems too consistent to be from congestion.
I'd like to keep the topic open in case someone has another idea as to what the issue might be.

Yes! There is a way to do this. I set it up for my son 3 years ago and am attempting to now set it up for my daughters but I've forgotten!
