Hi all,
We have a couple of LTIs that are available from the user navigation (under the user profile) and one that is also available from the global nav on the far left. I understand from Canvas that I cannot add global navigation items to the mobile app as I do in the desktop model but I thought perhaps the user navigation LTIs would be displayed somewhere within the student app. Do these LTIs show up anywhere on mobile?
Thanks in advance for any information you can provide!

@cph2 ,
Unfortunately the answer is no. We have a few items at our school that use the users menu and they aren't accessible on the mobile app. The only suggestion is to put in a feature idea on the community.

Thanks, Ryan! I have done so.

I am happy to add you as a co-author if you'd like to refine the idea.
Thanks again for your help!
I am still looking for this ability in our mobile app. Does anyone have a workaround since Canvas put the feature suggestion into Cold Storage?
@cph2 One workaround right now is to customize the Help Menu with your navigation links. You can even change the button title from "Help" to whatever you want. So something like "More Links" would work.
This works because the mobile apps do support custom Help Menu items and the help menu is displayed in the global nav.
I hope this helps!
Nate
Thanks! I appreciate the workaround but I can't figure out how to access the help in the navigation!
I am not seeing a help icon or menu item on my Canvas Student app on Android. Where would I look?
I found it but not anywhere where I expected to find it! On the Android student app I needed to go to the hamburger dropdown menu where I expected to find it, go to the Settings Gear (which I thought would contain settings) and there it was!
To quote a colleague: "Wow…that could be in a better place."
cgaudreau Thanks for your help!
