[ARCHIVED] Does a teacher have access to a student's view/s of specific content in New Analytics?

Hi I created a tutorial for my teachers on using New Analytics.  I thought I got all of the features of New Analytics in my video, but maybe I didn't?  Does a teacher have access to analytics of specific content or just on assignment completion?

There are many awesome features in New Analytics. I love how easy it is to get data that helps me adjust my instruction and to be proactive with students.

"I wanted to see if students clicked on the recorded video link. Not sure if that’s possible but wanted to know. I did try to make follow up assignments something they had to view it to answer. "

I could be mistaken (and I'd be happy to be corrected!), but from what I have discovered with New Analytics, there's not an easy way to track links from within a resource/assignment. While you can see who has viewed or participated, there isn't a way to see who has viewed the recording. 

However, if your school has Canvas Studio, you can view students' progress through a video. It's a very clean-cut and looks beautiful alongside content. You could also introduce the EdPuzzle LTI. The school where I teach just recently adopted EdPuzzle with our movement to holding school online. My colleagues have been able to present EdPuzzle content (progress recording, skip preventing, and embedded questions) right within Canvas.
