[ARCHIVED] Duplication of module from one course into the other only duplicates the template, not the created content. Why?

I'm trying to copy the modules I've created for one course (course A) and import them into a second course (course B) that I am teaching (I am teaching two sections of the same course).

I've followed the instructions on 'importing course content' and selected specific content to import. I've selected the modules from course A and 'imported' them into course B.

However, when I do this, course B only imports the template versions (unedited, without any of the content I created for course A) of the modules, resulting in duplicate templates for each module.

What am I doing wrong? Why isn't it importing the content I created including text, links, materials etc?

THanks very much.

Hi  @marye_staub  Thank You for your question. This sounds very frustrating.

Are you still experiencing this issue? Or have you found a fix?

If it is still occurring perhaps you could reach out to your Canvas support crew https://til.unisg.ch/studynet/faq-faculty/  , or Canvas Support here: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-17624-how-to-contact-canvas-support

I see that your Institution just moved from using Fronter, so have we. Happy to help any time.
