[ARCHIVED] Edit after syncing assignment to synergy

I accidentally synced an assignment to synergy under the wrong assignment group. Now I cannot edit the assignment in synergy or delete it. I have tried editing the assignment group on both the synergy and canvas sides but it will not change the assignment group in synergy.

No. I am still trying to figure it out.

Once you change a grade using the speed-grader it will let you resync! 😁 I just graded a late entry and tried to resync to see if it would and it corrected the problem.

I was able to hide the assignment from student view in Synergy and change the score. However, I was able to delete the assignment.

Same here and I am losing my mind! If anyone could help I would so appreciate it.

Go in and edit the assignment group under the canvas side, then try editing one of the grades for a student. (For example I graded a student entry that was turned in late.) Then I tried resyncing the assignment to synergy. It will only allow you to resync once you have made a change to a grade then it will resync with the changed assignment group and updated grade.

I need help with this, too. I deleted an assignment that already was synced to my Synergy gradebook. Then, I went back and deleted the assignment in Canvas but it still appears in my Synergy gradebook. How do I get rid of it in Synergy?

Go into the assignment and toggle of the 3rd party read-only switch off. Then you can edit or delete the assignment. Toggle it back on in order to continue syncing with canvas.

Where is this located in Synergy?

This works, but gets annoying at the end of the marking period. They need to add this as an action in the assignments menu so that all assignments can be toggled in one go.

Where is the third party read only switch?

If you go to Quick Assignment, you can toggle it off, but only if your admin lets you do it.  😞
