I have a semester class this year and I need to add in grades from the previous quarter, but it is closed. How do I open up that to grading. I have not been able to find that in the settings.
If you school uses "terms" to organize courses, and sets "term dates" for those terms, then the course may be set to "read only" for teachers after a certain date. Overriding that may require your administrator to adjust the availability dates on the course.
