First I created course card images for each content area using Google Drawing. After setting the course card image for each subject area within each course‘s settings, I then created a simple table with those same course card images and hyperlinked the other courses to their respective courses. Create the table at a single row with five columns. Set the table for 100% width and each cell at 20%. After making one, you can copy and paste the table into the other courses. If they are enrolled in the course, then they will be able to hop between the subject areas seamlessly.
With elementary students, keep it simple but engaging visually. PNG files are the best for the course cards. The aspect ratio should be about the same as a standard business card.
