When Blackboard goes away, how do I access Canvas and how do I use my email? There is no link or access to emails as far as I have found in canvas. I always had to log into Blackboard to get my emails. Please advise. Right now I have a Blackboard icon I click on to get to my classes. Thank you for your time.

Hi Cynthia -

In Canvas, the message/"email" location is called Inbox. Once you open your dashboard, you'll see a link along the left-hand side. How do I use the Inbox as an instructor?‌

Thank you. I have used Inbox before but I did not think it was my access to my emails. Thank you for answering. Do I need to save anything before Blackboard disappears?

Hi Cynthia -

From what I read from the University of Cincinnati resources, it sounds like you'll lose access from Blackboard soon. I'd connect with someone from your technology department for more details about what you should save for documentation/archival and what is okay to have deleted with the official move to Canvas.
