I am embedding images into questions the usual way (by clicking the Embed Image icon, and uploading a .png or .jpg file). However, on my quiz yesterday a few students told me they were unable to see the picture. One student said: "the image would not pop up. I tried refreshing the page with no luck." Why did this only happen with a few of my 200 students - and fyi, they are all taking the test from their home computers? How can I prevent this from happening again?
....it seems that nobody bothered to answer, not even a community coach....
Are your students using a Safari web browser on MacOS? In this case it is a problem which has been reported since March this year, caused by the way Instructure handles their files, domains and links, which by Safari is seen as an unsafe practice linking to other domains...
