This has been posted before but I'd like to re-open this topic for further discussion.
I'd like to embed the Canvas Course Calendar specific to one course on said course's homepage. This seems like something that would be a no-brainer, but I have found it to be impossible.
I have tried exporting the feed to google calendar, and embedding that to my Canvas homepage but that removes the hyperlinks for each date, forcing students to have to copy/paste urls and making the process more tricky than helpful.
I have also tried using iframe code but that creates a window inside a window and can get very confusing once students start navigating inside the frame.
This issue has been posted for years but I have yet to find a solution. This should be fairly simple to implement from a programmer's perspective, but I may be wrong.
Please help!!

Hello @MrBuff Thanks for posting in the Community.
Looking at this question, it has been posted before, https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Instructional-Designer/Canvas-Course-Calendar-Embed-Capab...
Right now, I am not seeing a way in the Canvas interface to do this. Right now we would need to use the workarounds provided in the Community. I know we have been asked about this before, but I am not seeing an open idea for conversation. I would suggest opening that idea up on our Ideas page: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Idea-Conversations/idb-p/ideas
This is what I have been toying with (not perfect, but gets the job done for now):
<div style="width: 100%; min-width: 400px;">
<div style="position: relative; width: 100%; overflow: hidden; padding-top: 56.25%;">
<p><iframe style="position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; right: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; border: none;" src="https://mec.instructure.com/calendar#view_name=month&view_start=2022-01-10" width="560" height="315" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture"></iframe></p>
</div>
</div>
I agree. Doing distance learning and even in person learning, the students in junior high struggle to find things, but a calendar makes it really easy. Having to make front pages with tons of organization takes time, whereas the calendar is simple. It would be nice, if this was a thing that we could do.
