This is my first time assigning a peer-reviewed assignment and I have a feeling that's why things are all messed up now. Can someone please help?
I assigned a rough draft, and my objective was to grade the assignment and give the student feedback on their document, like usual, but also to have them read their classmates' and offer feedback. I thought this was what the peer review feature on Canvas did.
Today, when I logged in to start grading and giving feedback, I discovered that the feedback tools are unavailable (see screenshot). The highlighter, text addition, etc.--these tools are all gone. I can only offer feedback in the "Comments" box.
Can anyone help me fix this? Is this always disabled when you have peer reviewed assignments??
