[ARCHIVED] Exam in Canvas

Hello sir/madam,

We are the teaching group of the course organized in canvas. We plan to hold a midterm by canvas quiz with 320 students on April 15th 2pm to 3pm. I saw some posts mentioned that there was a crash in such a big flow of visits in other classes. So I wonder is there anything we or you can do to prevent this from happening? Thanks!

Thanks for checking with us.  We do not anticipate that having 320 students take a quiz at 2 PM should cause any undue stress on the system.  Checking ahead for very large numbers (like say 900 new students all logging in at the same time late at night) at odd hours is a good idea but 320 students in the middle of the day should be fine.
