How can I export a canvas page into a word doc or pdf. I have made tons of really good pages and a student has no access to the work due to computer problems. I would really like to be able to export my work so I can give it to him on a USB. 

I have tried the only method I have seen on these forums but it does not include any pictures

The only way I know is to export it as an ePub. 

You could use this to convert it to a PDF EPUB to PDF – Convert EPUB to PDF Online

Can't you just right click a Page, select print, and then save as PDF?

Hi. I know how to export a course for canvas. I think you misunderstood my question. I want to export my work as a pdf or word file, not as a canvas package file.

no, that will only print the page in your browser.

Not entirely true.  Even if you select to print a page, you can change the settings on your print page to not use your printer...but rather it can generate a PDF file of the page you're looking at on your screen.  I do it all the time on my Windows laptop where I don't always have a wireless printer connected and I want to save a screenshot of an order I've place online.  It works pretty well for my needs.

You can just print the file from your browser.

Go to the page of interest

Choose "file", "print", "save to PDF".  This will print the web page with images.  It will have some of the surrounding "junk" on the web page, but should contain all important content.

I agree - this is not answering the original posters question. Another frustrated instructor here who wants some basic interoperability - let me export my intellectual content into an easily editable format like Word or a text file without xml markdown codes. Given this post and others elsewhere on the "community", it seems Canvas just doesn't want to do this. And no, exporting to a pdf is not the "solution" I'm looking for.
