Is there a way to add an extra attempt for a quiz for a specific student, but have the overall time limit be less then the first attempt?

I just did a quick test in a sandbox, and there does not appear to be any easy way to do this in Canvas.. The hard way would be to wait until all the other students have completed the quiz, then edit the quiz to reduce the time limit, then moderate the quiz to provide the extra attempt at the reduced time for the specific student.

You could create a new Idea Conversation, but changes to Canvas can be slow (read "years" in some cases), so do not expect instant gratification.
