How does the extra time assigned a student for quizzes and exams work?  Does the student's time run out and then the extra time starts?  How do they view this in their quiz or exam?

Hello! The extra time that you can add for a specific student kicks in once the initial time has passed. For example, if I gave all students 30 minutes to take a Quiz, but also gave Student A an additional 30 minutes via the Quiz Moderator, then Student A would have a total of 60 minutes to take the quiz. The transition from the initial time to the extended time is seamless. Student A would notice in the upper right corner of their quiz how much time they have left. This is also visible for all students. The link below may also serve as a helpful resource.

So per your example, does the student see 30 minutes when they enter the exam? And then when that initial time is over the new 30 minute timer begins? Or does the student see a 60 minute timer when they enter the exam?
