I am a high school science teacher with a passion for technology with a purpose, inspiring students through the excitement of learning, and an understanding that building relationships are key in furthering a student's education and becoming a better educator. My students would describe me as a bit 'Extra'. I love how Canvas has become an extension of my classroom. And the features that Canvas employs has allowed me to better support students, individualizing learning to best meet their needs. I am honored to say that I was Canvas' 2019 High School Educator of the Year. When I am not trying to channel my inner Ms. Frizzle I spend time with my family tripod; which includes my husband and labrador retriever named Teddy.
