Is it possible to find and replace scores in the gradebook? Sometimes I want to go and replace all my zeros with another score. I have to manually search the gradebook each time to do so. Is there an option to find and replace certain scores?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hello @mrainaldi
Thanks for posting in the Community.
I am also not familiar with the process that @Mose986 is referring too there. The only way I know of doing this is the manual process you described, which is to manually enter the scores into the gradebook one student at a time per assignment. I am curious to see if Mose986 can provide some insight on that proces they described as I don't have those options in my sandbox either.

In the Gradebook view when selecting a cell you will get two pop-up menus with different icons. The left contains Student Tools, and the right contains Assignment Tools. 2. Select the Find & Replace icon to use the find and replace feature
@Mose986 -
Can you provide a manual page or screen shots of what you are talking about? I cannot seem to find the feature you are describing.
Thank you.

One option is to export the grade book and delete all assignment columns except for the one in question. Change the grades as you want in excel and then import the csv file back into the gradebook. Not a solution per se, but a way to do what you want.
Definitely not a solution. I think it'd be less work just to manually change grades.
There really should be a Find and Replace option when right clicking an assignment. Just as there is a "Set Default Grade" there should be a "Find and Replace" option as well.
