I believe that I finished the modules that were assigned to me however I cannot move on. Is there something else that I need to do?

This can be frustrating. I'm sure that if you reached out to your instructor explaining the challenge they will either be able to point out work that still needs to be completed or they might have to amend the module. Either way you will be able to move on.
Perhaps use the Inbox in Canvas to message your instructor. How do I send a message to a user in a course in the Inbox as a student?

Hi Anthony
If you follow the guide it will step you through how to contact your instructor.
Simply click on the Inbox in the Global navigation menu.
Then click beside the Compose a new message icon.
Click inside the Course field to see your courses list appear.
Click the course you require.
Then click Teacher/s then select the teacher in question.
Then compose your message.
