[ARCHIVED] Gauge Users Group disappeared

Ever since New Quizzes came out, I really love the Gauge AMS so much, since they share the same interface.

However, suddenly, as of this week, it disappeared unexpectedly. Without this Gauge documentation, it is becoming harder for us to solve for the missing features of New Quizzes, especially when it comes to assessment-wide tags (https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/16359-assessment-wide-tags-in-new-quizzes-not-just-for-individ...), deployment dates, and CSV reports. Can you please help us out? Is Gauge being folded back into New Quizzes?

Please clarify.

Hi Kelvin,

Everything that was still pertinent has now been incorporated into the new quizzes documentation and before we removed the Gauge user group we coordinated with all institutions that were previously Gauge clients.  Thanks for taking an interest in this.

Thanks, Scott, but Gauge has some features that are not currently available in New Quizzes, including assessment-wide tags, deployment and release dates, outcome reports, and CSV exports.

Assessment-wide tags for organizing quizzes. You can add multiple languages, filter by campus, and even assign to different stages of education (6th grade, 7th grade, etc.).

You can select when to release the results.

Results page showing the learning outcomes that the student mastered from the Learning Mastery Gradebook

You can export raw data into a CSV file.

• Student Attempt: Data for each student that has completed the assessment.
• Session Items: Data related to each assessment attempt (may include multiple attempts for one student).
• Item Analysis: Data related to each item in an assessment.
• Outcomes Mastery: Data related to assessment outcomes through the Learning Mastery Gradebook.

You are correct about that.  However we are not continuing to put resources into both development efforts.
