[ARCHIVED] Google Documents Auto Duplicating in Canvas

Hello,

We have an instructor who is accessing his classes from last year and editing them for this year. Somehow during this process, some documents are automatically duplicating themselves in Google. The documents have the same exact name (ex. does not have "copy" or "-2" apart of the new name), but they have different document IDs, which is how you know they are two different documents. When I chatted with Google, they were able to see that these documents were created by a third-party app with the code 633257383544. It appears that Canvas is auto duplicating some of his documents, but we aren't sure how or why. Does anyone have any advice on why this is happening to only him?

You'd want to speak to the tech support via the help button on your school account with a ticket and provide examples, screenshots, or a video of what you are seeing so we can take a look at it from there.
