[ARCHIVED] Google app in Canvas Free for Teachers?

I have a Canvas Free for Teachers account I am using with my students.  The county I work in has given all the students and teachers access to Google for Education.  I was hoping to download the Google app into my course however I do not have a Canvas Administrator to ask for a key/secret so I can install.  Is it possible to download this app into my course or does the entire school system have to be Canvas?

Hi Kevin,

I apologize for being so late to answering your question.  As a test I did the following:

1. Logged into FFT and created a course with a test user 
2. Added a student and an assignment set to accept files
3. Logged into FFT as student user, accepted course invitations, went to my settings and authorized my Google settings
4. Went to Google Drive and created a sample document
5. Went into course as student, clicked to submit file, clicked over to Google tab and found my sample document to submit
6. Logged into course as teacher, clicked into student submission, left grade, inline comments and regular comment
7. Went back to assignment as student, see the feedback and grade

Is this what you want your students to be able to do?  If so, I think you are good.  If you have other things you'd like to accomplish, please let me know.
